Company History

  1. 1993

    APEIROTAN is founded

    Anastasios-Marios Kitsaras establishes APEIROTAN Ltd. in Ioannina, the first advertising agency in northwestern Greece.

  2. 1995

    Early innovation in production and technology

    APEIROTAN opens the first colour-separation studio in northwestern Greece. It is also the first company in the region—and the third in Greece—to gain access to the internet.

  3. 1997

    Advertising expands

    Next Media is founded, extending the company’s work in advertising.

  4. 1998

    Telecommunications infrastructure sold

    The company sells its telecommunications infrastructure in Epirus to Ideal Telecom, a Vodafone-affiliated company.

  5. 2000

    Next Com enters the technology sector

    Next Com S.A. is established to provide specialised technology services.

  6. 2006

    Next Media and Next Com come together

    The two companies merge under the name Next Com S.A., bringing their activities together for the first time.

  7. 2010

    Growth across Greece

    Next Com expands its operations nationwide.

  8. 2015

    A presence in Athens and Ioannina

    The company strengthens its presence by establishing offices in both cities.

  9. 2018

    A move into digital transformation

    Next Com expands into digitisation, digital technologies and digital transformation.

  10. 2021

    Partnership with CGC Communication

    Next Com begins working with CGC Communication, broadening its activities.

  11. 2023

    Merger with CGC Communication

    Next Com and CGC Communication merge.

  12. 2024

    Recognition in Greece

    Next Com S.A. ranks among the Top 5 advertising and communications companies in ICAP CRIF’s rankings and among the Top 500 Greek companies in Direction Business Reports.

  13. 2025

    Recognised among Europe’s fastest-growing companies

    The Financial Times names Next Com among Europe’s fastest-growing companies.
